As an avid reader, I used to carry one novel, worried that I would zip through it and have nothing to read; like many of my generation, I was reluctant to join the e-reader bandwagon. One of my favourite things about flying is the uninterrupted reading time I have. I chose the Kindle Paperwhite because it’s so handy. If I want to switch from a light beach read to a crime novel, I can do so instantly. If I finish what I am reading, I simply download another book or two. You can read excerpts of a book before you choose it. So light and portable, it’s handy for airport lounges, reading in bed, at the beach, anywhere. The latest version is thinner, lighter and waterproof. Reading on a boat, anyone?
