Recently I had a winter escape to the sun and decided to only take carry on and thought it would be easy as I already had two fairly recent carry on cases. I checked the airline requirements, which is vital to do as each airline carry-on measurements and weight vary by centimetres and kilograms. I’d was flying with Air Transat and discovered that their carry-on size requirements are limited.
I ended up buying another small carry-on case, the MEC Pacsafe Toursafe AT21 rolls easily and tracks well. It looks great after travelling through many airports and cleans up well. Always check the measurement restrictions on your airline to avoid your bag being. Like me, it likely contains jewellery, medication or other items that you’d prefer to have with you. Keep in mind that measurements usually do not include the handle or the wheels, so be detailed about it. You will thank yourself later when you lean back, carry-on case above your head, drink in hand, and a great magazine in your hand.
